“Soutien de Famille”
Soutien de famille a cinematic essay based on the artistic performance Hogshead 733, which involved traveling aboard a wooden sailboat whose hull had been previously decontaminated and stripped bare. A journey from Trébeurden in Brittany to Islay Island in Scotland was undertaken, with 20 stops along the way, from August 23 to September 21, 2015.

This film marks my first feature film, and its theatrical release is scheduled for the end of November 2022. During my residency at Menez Meur, I had the opportunity to present the film in preview at the cinema of Camaret-sur-Mer, located in the Regional Natural Park of Armorique (PNRA). There, I met Isabelle and Aziliz, a mother and daughter duo of storytellers. Naturally, we decided to create a narrated version of the film and then film this performance. A film made from a story made from a film made from a performance.
